Welcome to the Alabama High School Football predictions website. Now before we go any further, I understand many of you will HATE and totally disagree with my picks, just as many of you will totally agree with them. My picks are based on 5 main factors:

1. Tradition-No matter what anyone tells you this will get you farther than even talent will when it comes late in the season!

2. Prior Season Finish-If you had a good team the prior year, you are likely to have a good team the following season, just as if you had a poor team the prior season the same could probably be in store. Rebuilding is time consuming and then there are those teams that are ALWAYS good. Though there are exceptions, for example: Washington County was 1-9 in 1999 and made the semi-finals with a 12-2 record in 2000.

3. Returning Talent-This one is obvious, this is a huge factor in what your season has in store for your team.

4. Coaching-Some places have tons of talent and dont do well, explanation: poor coaching. Some teams dont have much talent and still do well, explanation: good coaching. Some teams have got it, others do not and thats why this is one of the top 5 factors in predicting.

5. Schedule Strength-The tougher the schedule, the better off you are when it comes time for the play-offs. If you play a weak schedule, you wont be ready when it comes play-off time!
